Westaff is looking for General Helper-Fabrication in the Essex Junction, VT area for Immediate Start!
Location: Essex Junction
Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am; with the chance for OT on Fridays 3:30PM – 9:30PM.
Pay: $23.50/hour
As a General Helper – Fabrication you will support production operations. In this hands-on role, you’ll help prepare steel components for the next stages of fabrication
Responsibilities
- Prepare steel parts for the next step in the fabrication process.
- Shake parts, peel vinyl, and assist with loading machinery.
- Support any fabrication area as needed to maintain workflow.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications/Essential Functions:
- Comfortable using small hand and power tools.
- Strong counting and paperwork accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of shop measurement.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, sit, and stand repeatedly.
