Westaff is looking for a General Food Production Helper ion the Norwood, MA area for Immediate Start!
Pay Rate: $15/hr Weekly Pay!
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm
Location: Norwood, MA
This position supports production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The General Production Helper is responsible for assisting with various production activities, including product handling, inspection, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
- Inspect products for foreign materials and verify they meet company specifications
- Report any quality or safety concerns to a supervisor promptly
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures, including proper use of PPE
- Assist with general production tasks as assigned
Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. on a continual basis
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in both cold and hot environments for prolonged periods
- Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated production area
- Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply!
- Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be always worn on the production floor
