Westaff Hiring Urethane/Cast Operator fo Manufacturer in Cheshire, CT!

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. M-Thurs, $21-22/hr (based on experience)

About the Role:

Manufacturer seeking a Custom Urethane Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will manufacture high-quality urethane products that meet internal standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review daily production orders with supervisor
• Read, understand, and follow production Work Instructions
• Set up and maintain molds to manufacture urethane products
• Cast and demold products to meet daily production output goals
• Perform in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and quality (checking for FOD, bubbles, etc.)
• Maintain responsibility for accuracy and quality of completed products
• Keep work area and surrounding spaces clean and organized
• Lift molds, 5-gallon pails, and related materials up to 50 lbs
• Stand and work on feet for 7–8 hours during a 10-hour shift

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attendance record and ability to work required 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule
• Basic knowledge of measurement tools and techniques
• Ability to read and follow standard procedures
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
• Strong math skills
