Description
Westaff has immediate opening for an Experienced Major Appliance Service Repair Technician Durham, NC area.
$20.00 per hour
Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm Monday-Friday NO WEEK-ENDS
Experienced Major Appliances Service Repair Tech Duties include:
- Must have 2 years repairing household major appliances.
- Experience in performing in-home deliveries and installations
- Must have experience in delivering and installing major appliances (Dish Washers, Washer/Dryers, etc.) to residential and commercial sites.
- Familiarity with appliance dollies and 2-man loading straps
- Excellent Customer Service
- Must have knowledge of plumbing and electrical, related to installing appliances.
- Good mechanical skills
- Ability to move appliances with appliance dollies and the strapping method-must know how to do.
- Must have good driving record and current drivers’ licenses.
- Able to drive and have experience in driving a delivery box truck

Requirements:
- 2-5 years in related field-Installing Appliances-Electrical & Plumbing
- High School or equivalent required.
- Plumbing/Electrical Certificates a plus.
- Box Truck-experience driver.
- Clean driving record.
