Accounts Receivable Analyst (3-Month Contract)
$30–$45 per hour • Full-time • Onsite
About the Opportunity
We’re hiring an Accounts Receivable Analyst to support a 3-month project focused on A/R analysis, reconciliations, and month-end close. This role is ideal for someone with strong A/R experience who can quickly step into a fast-paced environment and help improve reporting accuracy and cash flow visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze open Accounts Receivable, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies
- Compare and reconcile multiple A/R reports; track variances and changes
- Research aged receivables and drive follow-up to reduce outstanding balances
- Support bad debt reserve calculations and write-off processes
- Assist with month-end close: A/R reporting, explanations, adjustments, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Recommend improvements to A/R processes, procedures, and systems
- Partner with internal departments and external contacts to resolve issues
- Perform additional A/R duties as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or 3–5 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- Experience with large ERP systems; PeopleSoft preferred
- Blackline experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of general ledger accounting
Schedule
- Shift: 1st shift
- Hours: 7:30AM–4:00PM
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Environment: Standard office setting
Compensation
$30–$45 per hour, based on experience.
This is a 3-month contract with no expectation of extension or conversion.
