Westaff is hiring for a Plumber in Wallingford, CT

Westaff is looking for individuals with a Fire Sprinkler License, Plumbing License or Plumber Apprentice with minimum 2 years experience.  

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

(flexible could be 6:30am-3:00pm)

Plumber with P2 or F2 license: $35-40/hr 

Plumber Apprentice: $20-30/hr 

Plumber Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, and repair plumbing systems, piping, and fixtures
• Install and service fire sprinkler systems including wet, dry, and pre-action systems
• Perform routine maintenance and testing of sprinkler systems to ensure code compliance
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans
• Troubleshoot system issues and make necessary repairs
• Ensure all work meets local and state safety codes and regulations
• Coordinate with contractors, project managers, and inspectors as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and clean work areas
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately

Plumber Requirements:

• Experience in plumbing and/or fire sprinkler installation and service
• Valid plumbing or sprinkler license/certification (if required by state)
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and local building codes preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

This is a DIRECT HIRE position and the company will offer 401k ,Vacation time,  and Medical Insurance as part of their benefits for full time plumbers.
