Shift for the Machine Attendant:
3rd 10:55pm-7:15am
Monday thru Friday
Job Summary of the Machine Attendant:
To monitor one and/or multiple workstation(s) at the machine(s) to ensure that the packaging and inspection of the parts produced are in accordance with our safety procedures and the customer’s standards.
Job Responsibilities of the Machine Attendant include:
- Handling of product produced from a machine
- This could include trimming or clipping product
- Packaging, weighing, and labeling product
- Inspection of all product produced at the machine
- At times measuring parts with gauge pins to ensure that they are acceptable to the customer’s print
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized workstation
- Communicating any quality issues to the Shift Supervisor
- Communicating and training the Machine Attendants on the next shift
Experience for the Machine Attendant:
Entry level position
Qualifications for the Machine Attendant:
- Must be able to read and understand all the documentation required to perform assigned tasks (Work Order and the Operator Responsibility Sheet)
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Should be able to speak, understand and read English
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude and show initiative
- Entry level measuring
