Job Opening: CNC Programmer

Westaff Hiring CNC Programmer for Rubber Manufacturer in Portland, CT!

Shift & Schedule:

• 6am–2:30pm Mon-Fri (possible OT as needed)
• Pay Rate: $25-30/hr (based on experience)

CNC Programmer Requirements & Job Duties:

• Previous CNC programming experience (rubber or plastics manufacturing strongly preferred)
• Ability to create, read, and adjust CNC machine programs (G-code/M-code) for rubber molding, cutting, or shaping applications
• Set up, operate, and fine-tune CNC machinery to ensure precise production of rubber components
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling, speeds, and feeds specific to rubber materials
• Perform machine offsets, tooling changes, and routine maintenance
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and material specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform heavy lifting as needed
