NOW HIRING: Inventory & Logistics Associate
Location: Oakdale, LA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $16.50 per hour
Position Summary We are seeking an organized, tech-savvy Inventory & Logistics Associate to support daily warehouse operations and inventory management. This role requires strong computer skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple inventory-related tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Reorder inventory parts based on stock levels and system data
- Unload incoming delivery trucks
- Perform clerical entry of parts into inventory systems
- Conduct cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy
- Collaborate with internal departments to issue parts as needed
- Document and account for parts issued after hours
- Receive incoming parts and equipment and verify accuracy
- Review, track, and analyze inventory performance
- Run inventory and replenishment reports
- Communicate inventory updates to the purchasing agent
- Maintain accurate reporting and data for inventory control
Important Notes
- No driving required
- No lifting over 50 lbs
- No forklift operation involved
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong technology skills (mandatory)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to learn new software (MAXIMO and PeopleSoft)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Maintenance background a plus
- Willingness to work occasional weekends or extended hours as needed
