NOW HIRING: Administrative Assistant / Event Coordinator
Location: Alexandria, LA
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
(Must be available for scheduled evenings and weekends for events)
A local organization in Alexandria is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Event Coordinator to support daily operations and assist with planning and coordination of on-site events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule events, meetings, and special programs
- Serve as a point of contact for event clients, vendors, and guests
- Provide excellent customer service to visitors and community partners
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry
- Support event setup, breakdown, and on-site coordination as needed
- Maintain calendars and assist with advance planning for evening and weekend events
Qualifications:
- Previous event scheduling or coordination experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficient with basic computer systems and office software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability for pre-scheduled evenings and weekends
