Location: Alexandria, LA
Pay: $100,000 annually

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Superintendent to oversee and manage asphalt paving operations in the Alexandria and surrounding areas. This role is responsible for leading crews, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and keeping projects on schedule. Asphalt paving experience is required, along with experience in concrete and highway work.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily asphalt paving operations
Lead and manage crews on job sites
Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications
Read and interpret plans, grades, and job layouts
Monitor material usage, equipment operation, and overall job progress
Enforce company safety policies and procedures
Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and inspectors

Requirements

10+ years of experience in asphalt paving, with foreman or superintendent-level responsibility
Required experience in asphalt, concrete, and highway work
Proven leadership and crew management skills
Ability to read blueprints and job specifications
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
