Westaff is seeking a 3rd shift Manufacturing Lead in Putnam, CT

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing production operations, managing inventory control, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment

Pay: based on experience 

Hours: 11:00pm- 7:00pm 

Manufacturing Lead Key Responsibilities:  

• Supervise and coordinate production activities during the 3rd shift to ensure timely and quality output.  
• Conduct regular cycle counts to monitor inventory levels and accurately track raw materials and finished goods.  
• Identify reorder levels for raw materials and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal inventory levels.  
• Perform routine safety audits across the manufacturing floor and address any safety concerns promptly.  
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.  
• Collaborate with team members and management to continuously improve manufacturing processes.  
• Maintain clear documentation of production activities, inventory, and safety inspections.  

 

Manufacturing Lead Qualifications:

• Prior experience in manufacturing supervision or leadership roles.  
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and control procedures.  
• Familiarity with safety standards and conducting safety audits.  
• Excellent communication and team management skills.  
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently during the shift.  
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
