Sensor Manufacturer in Wallingford, CT Looking for Fine Solders!

The Solderer will be responsible for producing components by fine surface mount soldering using a microscope.

Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday 

Pay: $18-20/hr based on experience 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fine soldering on small parts, wires, and electronic components using hand tools and microscopes.

• Inspect solder joints to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.

• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and assembly drawings.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure product quality and safety.

• Report any defects or issues to supervisors and assist in troubleshooting assembly problems.

• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

Fine Solderer Requirements: 

• Must have experience with soldering under a microscope.

• Experience with cable harnesses, electro-mechanical assemblies, and use of basic electrical test equipment is a plus.

• Ability to work with small components using tweezers, magnifiers, or microscopes.

• Steady hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Basic understanding of soldering techniques and inspection standards (IPC certification a plus).
