Field Engineer

Location: West Monroe, LA

Salary: $75,000/year

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Travel: Up to 75% across the U.S.

 
Qualifications

  • Strong math skills

  • Ability to perform water treatment calculations

  • 1–5+ years working with:

    • Pumps, control valves, flow-meters

  • Mechanical experience (e.g., auto body shop)

 

What You’ll Do

  • Test water quality using field chemistry kits (e.g., Hach)

  • Troubleshoot control systems & tune PID loops

  • Operate PLC-based & manual equipment

  • Calibrate flow-meters & pH probes

  • Sample process streams (EPA standards)

  • Create client-ready reports & presentations

  • Take on additional field tasks as needed

Education (Preferred)

  • Associate or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering

  • Vocational training in:

    • Industrial Electrical Technology (IET)

    • Mechanical Engineering

    • Water Treatment
