Job Opening: Safety Administrative Assistant
Description
We are seeking a Safety Administrative Assistant to support our safety department with clerical and compliance-related tasks. This is a key support role that ensures accurate documentation, consistent safety processes, and smooth internal operations.
This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a background in administrative work within an industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update safety documentation, training logs, and compliance records

Assist with incident reporting, safety audits, and inspection tracking

Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and safety-related communications

Schedule training sessions, orientations, and follow-up meetings

Track certifications and expiration dates (e.g., forklift, OSHA, CPR)

Manage safety supply inventory and order PPE as needed

Work closely with safety coordinators, HR, and supervisors to support safety programs

Assist with workers’ compensation paperwork and case tracking
Requirements:

2+ years of clerical or administrative experience (safety experience preferred)

Familiarity with OSHA standards and workplace safety practices is a plus

Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, database or tracking systems)

Excellent attention to detail and follow-through

Strong written and verbal communication

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing office setting
Preferred Qualifications:
