- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures
- Read and understand mechanical drawings and hydraulic/electric schematics
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and blueprints
- Perform root cause analysis on mechanical and electrical equipment failures
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs with plant supervisors
- Communicate plant equipment repair/operational status to maintenance manager
