Westaff is seeking a Customer Service Representative with manufacturing experience for our client in Hudson, NH!
1st shift 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri
$55000-60000 annually Depending on Experience
Reports To: The Customer Service Representative reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
Job Overview: The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing assistance, information, and support to our customers regarding the status of their orders. Duties include answering inquiries, resolving issues, expediting orders with the production department, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. The Customer Service Representative will field incoming calls and e-mail inquiries and will maintain accurate records of customer interactions. Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to foster positive interpersonal relationships are essential for success in this role. Our Customer Service Representative serves as the frontline of support for our organization.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, purchase order concerns, pull-ins/pushouts, shortages,
open order reports, weekly customer conference calls, and order scheduling via phone, email, and live chat.
• Deliver accurate information about products, services, and company policies.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
• Record customer interactions and feedback in our CRM system for tracking and analysis.
• Assist with troubleshooting common issues and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Identify customer needs and provide proactive solutions to improve their experience.
• Collaborate with team members to share insights and develop better processes.
• Work closely with Purchasing and Production to update customer order status.
Qualifications and Skills:
• A high school diploma or equivalent, a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Proven customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office programs.
• Ability to employ time management techniques.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• A strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi-task and handle high-pressure situations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organization and time management.
• Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude.
• Knowledge and experience in ERP systems, Epicor preferred.
