Mixing/Weighing Machine Operator – Georgia Vermont
Pay: $18.50-$21.56 DOE
Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm
Summary of responsibilities:
Under the responsibility of the production supervisor the Mixing & Weighing Operators are responsible for completing assigned tasks effectively and efficiently, while maintaining a high standard of quality, safety and adherence to procedures.
Weighing Operator:
- Follows and accomplishes the weekly schedule via production report;
- Reads and interprets Mix Ticket to determine ingredients needed;
- Weighs all ingredients needed in order to mix accurately;
- Identifies and confirms weighed ingredients are ready for mixing;
- Verifies that all the ingredients are ready for production (verify quantity, type, etc. according to recipe);
- Populates and validates the production reports;
- Conducts returns of extra ingredients by weighing and counting unused ingredients to be returned to the inventory;
- Coordinates with Warehouse to return ingredients;
- Disassembles and cleans the equipment when the schedule requires according to HACCP standards;
- Coordinates with the Quality Control Department regarding necessary quality checks during processes
Mixing Operator:
- Follows and accomplishes the weekly schedule via production report;
- Verifies ingredients are ready for mixing production stages (quantity, type, etc. according to Mix Ticket);
- Populates and validates the production reports
- Mixes all ingredients, into 150 and 500 kilo Mixer, according to the Mix Ticket;
- Follows recipe specifications in terms of mixing time, order of ingredients, components to use, etc.;
- Manipulates large machinery;
- Calibrates machine components;
- Uses independent judgement when adjusting machine components due to consistency differences in powders;
- Dry cleans and washes the equipment when the schedule requires and according to HACCP standards;
