Bookkeeper needed for Manufacturing Company in Cheshire, CT!
We’re looking for a highly organized and versatile Office Administrator & Bookkeeper to join our team and play a key role in our daily operations and financial management.
Pay Rate: $20/hourly
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 1st shift
Bookkeeping & Financial Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Enter and reconcile cash disbursements in QuickBooks
- Process incoming customer payments and follow up on outstanding receivables
- Prepare and deliver regular financial reports to the executive team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial record
- Handle office purchasing and inventory of supplies
- Process and enter customer orders
- Support HR tasks such as onboarding, maintaining personnel files, and coordinating benefits and time-off tracking
- Act as the liaison between departments to ensure smooth communication and operations
- Maintain general office organization and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably with QuickBooks
- Familiarity with A/R and A/P processes
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency using computers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in a small business setting preferred
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of payroll processing or HR administration
- Experience with order management systems or ERP platforms
