Job Opening: Hydrostatic Testing

NIGHT SHIFT: 6PM – 4AM
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hydro Tester to join our team. A Hydro Tester is responsible for conducting hydrostatic pressure tests on piping systems, pressure vessels, and other components to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical aptitude and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and perform hydrostatic tests on pipes, valves, tanks, or other equipment

Monitor test equipment and pressure gauges to detect leaks or weaknesses

Maintain accurate test records and documentation

Interpret engineering drawings and test specifications

Safely handle pressurized fluids and test equipment

Follow company and industry safety standards at all times

Inspect equipment before and after tests for damage or wear

Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to ensure compliance
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus

Prior experience in hydro testing, pressure testing, or similar mechanical work preferred

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and test procedures

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor)

Familiarity with hydro testing tools, pressure gauges, and recording equipment
Preferred Skills:

Certification in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) or related field a plus

Experience in oil & gas, construction, or manufacturing industries

Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment
