IT Network Administrator – Hybrid Direct Hire
A dynamic IT Services department is seeking an experienced IT Network Administrator to join the team in a hybrid capacity. In this role, you will maintain, administer, and support global computer networks, ensuring seamless operation across locations. You’ll be responsible for configuring, installing, documenting, troubleshooting, and decommissioning network equipment while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to optimize system reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Proactively identify and resolve network issues.

Configure and install network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Procure network equipment and manage ISP subcontractors.
-
Monitor performance and ensure system reliability and capacity.
-
Follow configuration and change management policies.
-
Assist with system rollouts to ensure seamless integration, usability, and security.

Recommend hardware, software, and process improvements to enhance services.
-
Create and maintain technical documentation for system usage and configuration.
-
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to develop innovative business solutions.

Expand technical skills through ongoing training.
-
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours critical system support.

Maintain effective communication with business users and team members.

Travel globally as needed.
Qualifications:

B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, or a related major (CCNA certification also considered).

Minimum 3 years of experience in Network and Systems Administration.

Strong proficiency in Fortinet and Cisco IOS for configuring and troubleshooting.

Solid understanding of TCP/IP networks, DHCP, DNS, subnetting, VLANs, and security tools.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills at various technical levels.

Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, use ladders, and handle hand tools.

Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%, including weekends and holidays.

Flexible schedule for travel on short notice.

Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and working independently or collaboratively.

Availability for on-call, evening, and weekend work as needed.
