Job Opening: CNC V100 Machinist
Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable CNC V100 Machinist to operate and maintain Vertical CNC V100 machining centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining, be able to read blueprints and technical drawings, and ensure all parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC V100 vertical machining centers

Interpret and work from blueprints, CAD drawings, and job specifications

Perform tool changes, fixture setups, and machine offsets

Monitor machine operations, inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)

Maintain quality and safety standards by following company procedures

Troubleshoot and correct machining errors or inconsistencies

Keep accurate records of production runs, maintenance, and inspections

Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in CNC machining preferred

Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating CNC machines, specifically V100 or similar vertical machining centers

Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC control systems (Fanuc or similar)

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Skilled in precision measuring tools and quality inspection techniques

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
-
Familiarity with multiple axis machining

Experience working with various metals (aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, etc.)

Knowledge of shop math and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Forklift certification or overhead crane experience a plus
