As a Quality Inspector Responsibilities include: 

• Examines material good and products on the production line and either approves or rejects items based on engineering requirements 
• Perform first article inspecting (FAI), approving in-process inspection and final inspection 
• Conduct visual and measurements test. 
• Advise and communicate required adjustments or corrections action to take to the production leads/ supervisors 
• Documenting inspections results by completing reports and logs per company procedures.

Location: Wichita, KS

Shift: 2nd and Weekend Shifts Available Pay: $18-$21/hr.

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist with a passion for precision machining? We are looking for a skilled professional to set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis Haas CNC Machines, ensuring high-quality aerospace components. If you have experience with multi-axis CNC machining, programming, and troubleshooting, this is your opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced manufacturing environment!

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and configure mills and lathes by entering instructions, setting offsets, and proving part programs
• Load machines with workpieces and ensure proper operation
• Verify settings by measuring first-run parts and sample workpieces using precision tools
• Maintain tight specifications by observing operations, troubleshooting issues, and editing programs
• Sharpen and replace worn tools while ensuring adherence to quality assurance procedures
• Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different tasks, identifying ways to improve processes
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop
• Strong experience with multi-axis CNC machines (3, 4, and 5-axis)
• Experience with Haas machines/controls preferred
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machining issues
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
