Job Duties:

Endform Setup employees are responsible for setting up and operating equipment such as Vaill and Triple Stroke Endformers , Air Sizers, and CP roll formers in a proficient and safe manner. Press, Tellesis or Stamper, and trim/deburr setup may be needed at various times.

Essential Job Functions:

• Read previously prepared setup sheets and routing package for individual parts. Determines what tooling is needed and where it is located.

• Uses tool handling equipment to safely move heavy tooling or fixtures to machine and follows prescribed setup methods to install dies, fixtures, sizing tools, and clamps in machine. Makes adjustments to flags or stops, hydraulic and air pressures, or motor speeds according to Setup Sheet.

• Gets setup approved prior to running production.

• Operates machine to run production and performs quality inspections as required by the written Quality Procedures. Makes necessary adjustments during production runs to stay in tolerances.

• May use templates, fixtures, surface plate, CMM, calipers, snap gauges, or other inspection tools to measure overall length, roundness, bead size, or other necessary dimensions per blueprint. Watches for presence of kinking, flattening, tube breaks, burrs, and oversize/undersize conditions.

• Complete records of production including scrap or rework reasons.

• Move parts to the subsequent operation with pallet jack.

• Assists Groupleader in writing new or changing existing Setup Sheets. May assist Engineering in developing new processes and trying out new tooling.

• Participate in the corrective action process to prevent defects from recurring.

• Follow procedures consistently to obtain repeatability.

• Participate in team meetings seeking continuous improvements for the operation.

  • Presents findings and recommendations to the Certification Review Committee

Title: Manager, Disease Prevention Programs and Chronic Disease Division – Health Issues and Challenges

This position will assist the division director with the day-to-day operations and will be responsible for providing programmatic oversight to all grants/contracts that address disease prevention programs such as Community Paramedicine and Community Health Workers and chronic diseases that include asthma, diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular health. Additional details include the successful planning and implementation of technical assistance and resources for each grantee within these categories. The incumbent will work with the Manager of Grants and Contracts to ensure the contracts and invoicing for all selected grantees are submitted, approved and recorded appropriately. The incumbent will work with the grantees to submit data and standardized metrics according to the guidelines set in their scope of work.

Essential Functions

  • Main point of contact for the grantees providing disease prevention and chronic disease programs and services
  • Partner, align, and act as the point of contact for department division leads (subject matter experts) who will provide programmatic consultation as needed about chronic diseases and disease prevention programming
  • Provide monthly and/or bi-monthly check-ins and technical assistance to grantees as determined by their scope of work
  • Work with the other Health Issues and Challenges program managers to ensure program and grant alignment and collaboration
  • Assist the division director in tracking performance and reporting requirements
  • Assist with the division’s internal and external trainings, meetings and grant kick-offs
  • Analyze progress reports from grantees to ensure outcomes will be achieved as predicted
  • Develop and maintain database of activities and outcomes impacting the designated grant areas within the division
