Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor needed ASAP in Wallingford!

Pay Rate: The position starts at $40.32/hr

Hours: 12am-8am shift OR 4p-12a shift  

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor is responsible for the efficient operation of the shift. Monitor and control Wastewater Treatment Plant to support production and meet state and federal operating and reporting guidelines.

Wastewater Treatment Plant Supervisor Responsibilities Include: 

• Operate and monitor all phases of operation of the equipment associated with the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
• Perform all duties including sampling, testing, reporting, computer monitoring, and inputting operational data required to maintain compliance with permits and regulations.
• Adjust process variables based on laboratory test results, instrument reading, and observations. Remove all collected solids from treatment plant basins.
• Assist in off-loading sludge when necessary to tank wagons for off-site disposal.
• Perform WWTP Laboratory Technician duties in conjunction with or in absence of the WWTP Laboratory Technician.

WWTP Supervisor Requirements: 

• Per Class II Operation License requirements
• Handle/Haul  20 lbs. - 50 lbs.
