Westaff provides Truss Assemblers & Ground Riggers to support the convention and trade show industry in New Orleans. Westaff is looking for  Technicians that are experienced in the assembly of Lighting and Truss systems, Pipe and Drape and Stagehand Carpentry. We offer employees the opportunity to work with great people and to work with the latest in audio visual equipment in an environment where customer service, teamwork, continuous learning and personal development is the norm.

 Pay: $20-$27/hr Depending on Experience; Regular Over Time available

Schedule revolve around Convention Schedules;

Lighting- includes stage truss assembly, ground rigging of truss systems, Leko spotlights, Ellipsoidal Spotlights, follow spotlight operation, theatrical lighting and lighting system design.

Staging- includes the installation of risers and stages, pipe and drape and the installation of custom stage design

General AV labor- used to load and unload trucks and set and strike audio video equipment.
