Westaff has an immediate opening in Windsor, CT for a CNC Machinist 2nd shift and 3rd shift!
Pay: $20 or DOE
Shift: 2nd shift 3:30PM-12:00AM M-F, 3rd shift 11:00PM-7:00AM S-Thurs
CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Perform set ups and operation of jobs, ensuring part conformance to specifications and requirements.
- Make necessary modifications or adjustments.
- Read and understand standard and geometric tolerances on blueprints and work instructions/operations sheets.
- Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gages, height gages and verniers.
CNC Machinist Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Machinery preferably in an aerospace environment.
- Surface grinding experience.
- Knowledge of FANUC or CNC controls.
- Exceptional mechanical ability and strong mathematical skills.
- Experience working with exotic metals, including Inconel, Rene, etc.
