Westaff has an immediate opening in Windsor, CT for a Machinist 2nd shift and 3rd Shift!
Pay: $20 or DOE
Shift: 2nd shift 3:00PM-11:30PM & 3rd shift 11:00PM-7AM
Machinist Responsibilities:
- Perform set-ups and operate machine, ensuring part conformance to specifications and requirements with minimal supervision.
- Make necessary modifications or adjustments to program and offsets.
- Read and understand standard and geometric tolerances on blueprints and work instructions/operations sheets.
Machinist Requirements:
- 3+ years in aerospace / manufacturing environment desired
- 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Machinery
- 3, 4, or 5 Axis Grinding experience preferred.
- Exceptional mechanical ability and strong mathematical skills.
- Experience working with exotic metals, including Inconel, Rene, etc.
