Westaff is Now Hiring Assembler 1st Shift in the Billerica Massachusetts area for Immediate Hire!

Pay: $17.00/hr

Hours: 7:00am- 3:30pm

Assembler Requirements :
Fits and perform work for fiber optic components.

Read work orders , follow drawings and verbal instructions.
Detailed and able to position and align parts to secure accurately in place.
Perform inspection, basic math , measurement skills and testing to ensure specifications are met.
Work with small team in quiet environment.
HS Diploma and/or Equivalent.
Any certification is a plus.

Job Requirements

Previous Assembly experience a plus, but not required
Attention to detail
Able to use basic hand and power tools
Basic math
Lift up to 20-50 lbs. and stand, bend, and reach

Job Responsibilities

Perform hands-on tasks
Maintain clean and organized workspace
Meet production standards
Work in an individual or team environment
Inspect and assemble product
Pack and prepare product for shipping
