Westaff is Recruiting for a Property & Casualty Insurance Agent for a Local Office!

Pay: $40,000 Plus Commission



  • Consults with prospective clients to discuss and understand their insurance needs.
  • Explains the insurance products available, the different coverage types, and the benefits of each plan.
  • Collects information such as location, value, and outstanding debts about the property to be insured.
  • Collects information for automobile coverage including vehicle and driver information and records.
  • Calculates reasonable premium quotes using the information gathered.
  • Maintains communication with clients to identify changing needs in services, property, or account information.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, or related field preferred; OR
  • High school diploma with proven sales ability required.
  • Applicable licensure to sell property and casualty insurance required.
