Love to cook?? Our client is looking for cooks at their non-profit assisted living facilities in the Burlington/Essex VT locations.
Pay: $15.50-$18.00 (DOE)
Shift: Full Time and Part Time available
Duration: Direct Hire
Cook Summary: The cook prepares and serves meals in a friendly, professional manner to Assisted Living residents.
Cook Job Duties:
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor station inventory levels
- Accommodate guests’ special requests
- Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
- The Cook is required to have on-call duties to cover for the Manager of Food Service.
