Aircraft Assembler Wanted!

A locally-owned, family-oriented air parts manufacturing company is seeking an EXPERIENCED Assembler. Assembler must have a 3-5 years of experience in the Aerospace industry.  

1st, 2nd and weekend shifts available.

Pay range: $16-19/hour, Weekly Pay!  Medical benefits available.

 DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the assemblies of sheet metal and machined aluminum parts per Customers engineering drawings and specifications.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform visual inspection of manufactured parts and traveler
• Verify parts assembly procedures to traveler
• Confirm material specifications as given on traveler
• Seal to IAW Engineering Drawings and special notes
• Able to use equipment designed to perform sealing

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Familiar with safety standards and PPE utilized in a manufacturing setting
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work overtime when needed
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Proficient in blue print reading
• Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers, with the ability to calibrate new tools
