Manufacturing Engineer Needed for A Manufacturer that Specializes in Metal Stampings in Meriden, CT
Hours: 7am to 3 pm
Pay: $50k-64k (BOE)
Monday to Friday
Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities Include:
Develops manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of part designs and materials, fabrication processes, assembly methods, tooling & production equipment capabilities, and quality control requirements.
Details the sequence of manufacturing operations and generates required Engineering documentation (Process Data Sheets and Work Instructions).
Reviews/processes customer purchase orders, enters Sales Orders, coordinates contract review meetings, and works to resolve any issues discovered.
Analyzes manufacturing operations, troubleshoots process problems related to production equipment, tooling, manufacturing operations, and materials and specifies improvement opportunities.
Creates controlled files of production part prints and manufacturing documentation.
Updates files upon receipt of document revisions.
Prepares detailed estimates in support of customer Requests for Quotation.
Processes customer Purchase Orders and enters Work Orders
