Lead Wire EDM Programmer/Tech Needed for A Manufacturer that Specializes in Metal Stampings in Meriden, CT

Hours: 7am to 3 pm

Pay: $30/40 hr (BOE)

Monday to Friday

Lead Wire EDM Programmer/Tech Responsibilities Include: 

• Performs programming and set up on state-of-the-art FANUC wire EDM’s.
• Works with Tool Room and Design Departments to meet schedules and prioritize work requirements.
• Participates in technical reviews and advises on design improvements for ease of manufacturability.
• Plans, performs, and documents routine preventive maintenance on Wire EDM machines with respect to manufacturers recommended schedule.
• Performs general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work area.
  

  Lead Wire EDM Programmer/Tech Requirements Include: 

• Familiarity with ROBOCUT CAMi and MasterCam software preferred.

• Experience with progressive dies or similar tooling required.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience required.

• Die makers that have completed a certified apprenticeship program with less than 10 years of wire EDM experience will be considered.
