Westaff is looking to hire an Experienced Executive Assistant for a Property Management Company in Meriden, CT! 

Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00 am- 4:30pm

Pay: Depending on Experience 

In this position, the right candidate will provide full executive administrative support to a C-level Senior Executive and other senior level team members. They will have frequent interaction with company's employees and department heads, handle and maintain highly confidential sensitive information, and will develop a sound understanding of the Company’s operations, policies, procedures and culture.

  • Proven ability to support C-level senior level executives. Has direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity, discretion and utmost confidentiality.
  • Possesses an extraordinary work ethic. Is a self-starter, self-directed, with a “can-do attitude” and is able to work without supervision. Anticipates needs and takes appropriate actions with the best interests of the Company in mind.
  • Has excellent time management and organization skills, acute attention to detail, and exhibits a keen understanding of prioritization of tasks
  • Has a proven track record of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions; applies logic and common sense. Is able to handle a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and delegates appropriately.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills and exhibits professionalism at all times. Remains calm under pressure, handles conflict appropriately, conveys a jovial attitude and is personable and professional with all colleagues, both internally and externally.
  • Is comfortable performing a wide range of administrative duties including, but not limited to: sending and reviewing/receiving e-mails, drafting correspondence, preparing memorandums, creating spreadsheets and presentations, maintaining detailed records and organized filing system(s), scheduling and tracking invoices and payments, handling daily schedules, orchestrating travel arrangements, overseeing task management, arranging teleconferences, , scheduling meetings, and handling general day-to-day operations.
  • Minimum 70 wpm and computer skills – Microsoft Office and Office 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, SharePoint
  • Experience in planning, managing and executing large-scale events
  • Experience with on-boarding and training new employees
  • The position will require some work to be performed on nights and weekends.

Education and Experience:

  • Candidate should possess of a minimum of 5 years' experience assisting a Senior C-level Executive.
  • Experience with redlining documents 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, English or related field preferred.
  • Experience in real estate construction, management, development, acquisitions, finance and multi-family housing a plus
