Westaff has a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY for a Service Engineer in Broussard, La.
Candidate will operate and perform maintenance on equipment onshore and offshore (worldwide), as well as onsite at the Client’s location.
Candidate will be operating/servicing hydraulic impact hammers (hydrohammer) to drive steel piles for foundations of buildings (skyscrapers), ports, piers, jetties (LNG terminals), oil & gas platforms/jackets, and offshore wind turbines.
- Base salary: USD 60,000
- 3x trip offshore times 30 days per trip: USD 13,500 - (90 days x USD 150.-)
- 1x trip onshore trip of 30 days: USD 2,250 - (30 days x USD 75.-)
- 1x trip onshore, trip of 20 days: USD 1,000 - (20 days x USD 50.-)
- *Compensation hours based on trips: USD 9,000 - (20 hours x approx. 12 weeks for offshore = 240 hours + 60 hours for onshore = 300 hours in total x USD 30.-)
- Yearly salary (Base + Compensation): USD 85,750 -
- Max. number of days working outside the shop in Broussard is 140 days. This can be more if agreed by employee and employer.
- During onshore and offshore jobs, all costs for travelling, lodging, food and drinks are covered by the employer. Also, trainings and medical examinations.
- Cell phone, laptop and in most cases credit card will be supplied by employer.

Daily compensation of USD 75.-
