Diverse Manufacturer of Precision Components Seeking Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operators

Location: Newington, CT

Pay Rate: $20.00+/ hour based on experience 

Hours: M-F 3:30pm- 4:00am; will train during first shift

Machine Operator Responsibilities and Expectations

• Perform exacting set-ups within tight tolerances
• Change components such as collets, feeder fingers, and pads of the machine according to needs
• Interpret schematic drawings and blueprints
• Ensure all products are to specification
• Utilize specialized tools to ensure proper calibration
• Operate machines related to tasks- including but not limited to: turning, facing, forming, drilling, boring, reaming chamfering, or cutting

Machine Operator Essential Functions

• Standing long durations
• Able to bend at the knees and waist
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Machine Operator Requirements

• Experience with the following: calipers, micrometers, gauges, and blueprints
• Experience with one or more of the following:

• Bridgeports
• Lathes
• CNC Machines

Machine Operator Desired Qualifications

• Experience with multiple CNC machines
• Experience with screw machines
