This position requires accuracy and efficiency to maintain customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will likely have 2 plus years in a similar position, and will be responsible for ensuring that productivity, inventory, quality, customer service, safety and profitability goals are achieved. Excellent hands-on skills built on experience and education are needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures all Health & Safety and company rules are observed.
• Conducts planned & random inspections on sub-assembled products and on incoming materials 
• Assists expedite services for non-conforming materials.
• Assists Technical support with Engineering issues, including documentation and feedback to the customer
• Conducts an 8D problem solving process for internal and external non-compliances, as required
• Ensures all daily/monthly reports are completed and submitted to Quality Supervisor / Project Supervisor.
• Ensures cleanliness and good housekeeping practices are employed using 6-S principles.
• Liaises with Material Handlers, Material Technicians, Production Team Leaders, and Production Management 
• Actively assist production, when required.
• Provide 8D training, where required.

HOURS:

• Monday-Friday, 7AM-3:30PM plus overtime

PAY:

• $19.50 Hourly

REQUIREMENTS:

• College degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered. 
• Ability to use email, and attach and manipulate digital pictures to a public drive
• Demonstrable computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
• Prior Audit experience a plus
• Prior experience in an ISO 9001 environment
• Current drivers license
• Ability to travel to Canada
• Continuous Improvement experience preferred, such as Six Sigma, ACE, etc.
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
