Description

WESTAFF is actively recruiting for IT Help Desk in a college setting in Durham, NC area

 

$20.00 per hour

Day Shift Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM (40 hours per week)

 

Help Desk-IT (but not limited to):

  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong Customer service
  • Attention to detail-Ticket Monitoring
  • Supports Clients calls and walk-in clients
  • Provide intermediate level remote support and troubleshooting of various types of technologies supported by the University’s Information Tech Services.
  • Data entry
  • Knows your way around a computer: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
  • Wireless networks
  • Configure hardware/software as needed.
  • Basic support provided for hardware, applications, operating systems, and networking
  • Proficiencies in Excel
  • Support other office tasks as needed
  • Self-motivated, ability to multi-task
  • Multitasking

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in IT/Computer Science preferred
  • 2-3 years in office setting
