Evaluates daily production to determine quality compliance results (referred to as "patrol checks"); informs production leadership of non-compliance issues and initiates NG (No Good part) documentation to trigger corrective action process with Production Team Leader 2. Ensures accurate count of incoming raw material through physical count 3. Counts and sorts in-process and finished product to identify rework requirements and scrap and documents results, accordingly 4. Calibrates and maintains measuring devices (gauges); performs gauge capability studies; maintains inspection equipment in quality lab 5. Conducts qualitative tests (hardness checks, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), Contracer, Surface Tester, etc.) as required by established inspection standards 6. Maintains product traceability throughout the production process and with suspended and rework material by evaluating lots by date on a FIFO (first in; first out) basis.
