Salary: $50,000-100,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities: Working as part of an Engineering and Environmental Sciences team for a wide range of projects including mining and mining infrastructure, dam repair and rehabilitation, wastewater system design, storm water design, site development/redevelopment, civil infrastructure, environmental remediation, hydrogeological evaluations, water resource development, water rights, environmental impact assessments, geotechnical evaluation and design, and construction oversight.

Qualifications

  • Required qualifications include a combination of education, experience, demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities with the following:
    • Bachelor’s in Civil, Environmental or Geological Engineering, or a related field with 0-10 years’ experience.
    • Strong field experience and technical skills in development and implementation of project work plans, engineering design, preparation of plans and specifications,  permitting, water supply development, construction oversight, and reporting.
    • Proficient in the use of computers and engineering software (MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Adobe, web based services including data storage and management, and time keeping).
  • Preferred
    • Master’s Degree in Civil, Environmental or Geological Engineering, with an Engineering Intern Certificate or the ability to obtain one within 6 months. 
    • Experience with water resource development, storm water modeling, HEC-RAS/ HEC-HMS, GPS surveying, mine permitting, environmental remediation, regulatory compliance, and construction management.
    • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and current 8-hour refresher training.
