Do you have experience working as an Operations Manager? Westaff is looking for an Operations Manager in East Longmeadow, MA!
Looking for someone who will be responsible for overseeing the daily shop operations, ensuring we run smoothly, efficiently and
effectively. You’ll be planning, overseeing and actively involved in on-site sign and display fabrication and installations.
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: $50k-80k based on experience
Duties Include:
- Motivating the team
- Training staff
- Ensuring that all jobs are completed on time with a high degree of customer satisfaction
- Preparing substrates (routing, painting and applying vinyl), adding lighting, and finishing, etc.
Experience:
- Sign/Display Production & Installation preferred: 5 yrs in Managerial / Supervisory roles
Education:
- Some college / Trade School / Experience in Construction, Remodeling

Qualifications:
- Basic carpentry, metalworking, electrical and shop skills to be used building and creating signs and displays
- Able to use and be comfortable on a ladder or lift for installs
- 3+ years of sign, display or graphic shop experience preferred
- AutoCAD experience a plus; Ability to design/sketch out signs/displays in a professional format
- Must possess the ability to work well under pressure while producing high volume, high quality work
- Excellent math skills required for assisting with quotes
- OSHA training and certifications a plus
Physically Able:
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift more than 50 pounds
- Use power equipment
Must possess a valid and clean driver’s license
