 East Haven manufacturer is seeking Electronic Mechanical Assembler to start as soon as possible

Candidates with experience assembling, soldering, and operating power tools encouraged to apply!

Pay Rate: $16-$17.50 Based on experience 

Shift: 7am-3:30pm

Location: East Haven, CT 

Job Summary:

Assemble large electrical, mechanical, and plumbing sub-assemblies.  Experience in installing electrical components and reading mechanical and electrical drawings, is required

Essential Functions:

• Follow work instructions and procedures
• Layout panel assemblies
• Perform rework of parts when necessary including drilling, tapping, grinding, and cutting
• Inspect parts for flaws and imperfections
• Solder wires
• Accurately complete assembly orders in the current routing time
• Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times.
• Perform general housekeeping as required
• Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned

Experience:

• Experience working with electrical/mechanical systems
• Able to operate overhead crane
• Able to operate power tools, i.e.: band saw, shear, hydraulic bender, drill press, table disk sander, etc.
