Westaff is seeking an experienced Machine Operator for a well-established Manufacturing company located in New Britain, CT for 1st and 3rd shift!
Starting at $15 an hour!
3rd shift: Monday – Friday 12:00am -6:00am, Saturday 6pm-4am
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Setting up machines and ensure they are running smoothly
- Maintain machines
- Perform simple measurements using a micrometer and Optical Comparators most of the documentation is automated, some will be entered manually.
- Must be able to follow directions
- Keep a clean and organized work area
- Max lifting 25-30 lbs (rarely)
Requirements:
- Prior manufacturing experience/ machine set up experience
- Great attitude
- Must be able to do basic measurements
- Micrometer and caliper experience , a plus!
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Must have steel toed boots
