Hydrometrics, Inc is seeking a Field Technician to join their team in Helena, MT!

Salary: $18.00 - $28.00 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities: Applicant must have a strong field aptitude as well as mechanical and troubleshooting skills.  Responsibilities will include conducting all activities related to soil, groundwater and surface water monitoring.  Activities will also include ongoing maintenance of field and sampling equipment as well as vehicles. Applicants must have the ability to conduct relatively strenuous work independently under highly variable conditions.  Field work will include travel. Candidates must be detail oriented with effective communication (oral and written), organizational and computer skills. 

Qualifications

• Required
  • Strong field aptitude, mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to conduct strenuous work independently under highly variable conditions
  • Ability to travel and work independently and with others
• Preferred
  • An Associates’ or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field 
  • Experience with environmental sampling
  • MSHA Certification
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification and current 8-hour refresher training
