Description

Janitors needed now! Assist our healthcare providers by keeping our care facilities clean and safe! 

Pay: $15 per hour 

Location: New Britain, CT

Shift: 1st shift - 7am to 3pm 

 

Janitor responsibilities: 

  • Clean, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces  

  • Ensure that all areas are always kept clean 

Janitor Job Requirements: 

  • Must be okay with possible exposure to COVID-19 patients  

  • Must be willing to undergo a background screening 

  • Must have required immunizations including: 
  • Two negative Tuberculin skin tests (PPD) within last 12 months-one within thirty days of hire, or negative Quantiferon Gold. If past positive TST, negative chest x-ray is required.
    o A positive Varicella titer or two Varicella vaccinations.
    o Two MMR vaccines or positive titers for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, and Rubella.
  • o During flu season (typically October-April) proof of flu vaccination. Please contact employee health if you are unable to receive this vaccine.
    o Documentation of a Tdap vaccine within last 10 years.
    o Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination and/or Immune Hepatitis B titer or signed Hepatitis B declination
