New job opening in Rocky Hill with Westaff! 

Ongoing Temporary job- to possible perm.
Pay rate: $16/hr
Hours:   Must be flexible between 8am and 6:30pm, as schedules vary
40 hours per week, M-F

Responsibilities

  • Enters a high volume of data quickly and accurately into proprietary software/operating platform.
  • Answers and directs incoming callers on the main Customer Service telephone line.
  • Assists incoming callers with basic support – escalates complex issues to management.
  • Communicates with prospective customers by providing price quotes, scheduling and booking shipments.
  • Communicates with Operations & suppliers to ensure scheduling compliance.
  • Provides overall support to the Customer Service team and other departments as required
  • Will be cross trained in various tasks
  • Possibility of becoming a permanent position based on performance and business needs

 

 

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong data entry/typing & computer skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Speaks clearly and demonstrates a professional phone demeanor
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent attendance
  • 3-5 years of related Customer Service experience in a fast paced, office environment
  • Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge
  • Must be able to work 8 hours per day between 8am and 6:30pm and work occasional OT as needed
