Accounting Assistant - new opening in Berlin, CT !
This is a Full Time, TEMP TO PERM opening.
Pay range is $18-$20/hr doe.
This is a full time Accounting/Office/HR assistant position with possibility of becoming a Full Charge Bookkeeper/HR/401K manager.
Process all invoicing & credits
Email and mail all invoices & credits
Run credit cards
Calculate time cards weekly
In charge of the fingerprint time clock
Update employee’s vacation and time off
Assist with A/P & A/R & Payroll
Learn check deposits
Assist with filing
Transfer year end files
Organize invoices for President’s review and file
Reconcile and file A/P invoices from purchasing
Assist with Health insurance/401K/HR/Handbook
Assist President/Accounting Manager/Office Manager whenever necessary
Run Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Program
1099’s, Sales Tax, Credit Apps, Certificate of Insurance Knowledge
Looking for a professional Accounting assistant, with experience in: AP, AR, payroll, invoicing, reconciliation, 1099's, Sales Tax, and COI knowledge!
Any Human Resource experience is a plus!
Strong general ledger experience
Office 365 experience
Sage accounting software a plus.
MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication skills
Must be a team player!
