Westaff has a Part Time Administrative Assistant position for our client in Wallingford, CT!

$15/hour, approximately 30 hours per week.

This is a Temp to Hire position. 

Job description for Part Time Admin:

Assist in the implementation of new vendors

Processing vendor invoices/check requests (possibly involving SAP application)

Purchasing and invoicing services and supplies

Restocking supplies, cabinets, and storage

Mailing state correspondence and other sensitive documentations

Breakfast/Lunch and meeting coordination

Detailed data entry for various departments

Documentation creation, management, filing and processing

ISO and MOC documentation management

Assist with on site visitors and assist travelers to and from Wallingford plant.

Job Requirements

Requirements for the Part Time Admin job:


HS Diploma

Experience(type and length of experience)

3 years in office work environment

Specific skills(skills and knowledge necessary to meet the objectives of the position)

SAP experience is a plus

Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

ISO knowledge is a plus



Problem solving(list significant job challenges requiring problem solving skills)

Good problem solving skills

Basic understanding of mathematics

Reading comprehension

Computer savvy

Detail oriented

Adaptive to fast paced work environment

Ability to take great initiative



Physical Requirements

Occasional lifting up to ten lbs.

Must be able to work in a climate controlled, office environment.

Vision must be good or corrected to normal to perform normal job duties.

Hearing must be good to have the ability to understand information to perform job duties.

Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and follow up on any actions necessary.

Sitting for extended periods of time.
