Westaff has a Part Time Inventory Control Admin Support opening! 

This is a Temp to Perm position, and the pay rate is: $ 15.00 to $ 18.00 an hour

(Approximately 20 hours per week)  

Position Summary: Clerical support of returns, purchasing, and inventory control

Essential job functions:

Manage RMA (Return Material Authorization) process of customer product returns for warranty repair and credit
Process Freight Claims for lost or damaged goods
Research and resolve shipping/receiving errors
Review order acknowledgements for accuracy
Procurement and maintenance of general office and shop supplies
Review freight invoices for discrepancies. Invoice freight to customers as applicable
Research and resolve vendor invoicing discrepancies in collaboration with accounting
Maintain special price quotations from vendors

 

Job Requirements

Job requirements:

3-5 years of Administrative experience, preferably supporting inventory/purchasing:

Experience needed: 

General knowledge of overall industry standards
2 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
Familiar with Computers/software and MS Office (specifically Excel and Word)
Knowledge of or background in inventory, purchasing, quality control, or customer service.
Hazardous material safety training
